Unique vintage cigar band star set with 9 small rubies.  The rubies would have been set by hand with the setter using the carved arms of each star to make the bead setting for each ruby.  The ring measures 7.44 mm wide and is 1.31 mm thick.

GEMS:  The rubies are old and in well loved and worn condition.  They weigh approximately 0.15 carts total weight (1.7 to 1.8 mm), red, medium dark modernly strong colour with fair cuts.

SIZE: The ring is a US size 6 but because the band is wide it has a tighter less forgiving fit and would likely be too tight for a true size 6 finger (fits closer to a 5.5 or 5.75).  It would not be easy to resize this ring so we don't recommend resizing.

METAL: 14k yellow gold (stamped).
