Meet our Rosie diamond stirrup ring. This one-of-a-kind ring is made in Toronto and flush set with a repurposed 0.55 carat antique rose cut diamond.
This ring was designed to evoke the quality and substantial feel of an antique stirrup ring. Stirrup rings are named for their distinctive horse saddle "stirrup" like shape and date back to the 12th century where they were often worn by clergy and other wealthy or important figures of the times. We love this style for its antique roots yet contemporary feel.
The 0.55 carat dome shaped antique rose cut diamond was repurposed from an Victorian pin. The rose cut diamond was named for its petal like appearance and has been popular and used in fine jewellery for over five centuries. We love it for it's subtle and soft sparkle.
Would make a unique engagement ring for a man or a woman.
